Meet the Founder
Deon has been deeply involved in project delivery since 1994. With a career spanning decades, he has worn multiple hats, from Project Manager to Program Manager, Head of System Delivery to Operations Director, Managing Director and now founder of Debca.
Throughout his extensive career, he has worked on projects of varying scales, with teams of all sizes, diverse client bases, and across multiple markets. However, regardless of these differences, one persistent issue remained: overruns, scope creep, and bugs. Deon witnessed how these challenges plagued software projects, causing frustration, delays, and ultimately impacting the success of businesses.
Fuelled by a passion for overcoming these challenges and a relentless desire to support agency owners and end clients alike, Deon started Debca in 2021 with a clear vision to help resolve the inherent problems in software projects.
